COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS AT THE BALMORAL

Your health & safety remains our top priority and we take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We would like to assure you that we are taking top precautionary measures in accordance with global and local public health authorities. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Enhanced cleaning and hygiene practices in public areas and guest rooms
  • Increased frequency of cleaning high-touch and common use areas (including lobbies, elevators, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.)
  • Hand sanitizer made accessible to guests in all public areas, with encouraging regular use by staff
  • Educating staff on the importance of effective hygiene measures
  • Staff instructed to limit cash handling and facilitate other transaction methods where possible, with regular hand sanitation
  • Protective gloves issued to housekeeping whilst on duty (cleaning between guest rooms and bathrooms)
  • Continue to adjust our F&B service in-line with food handling & safety recommendations
  • Informed staff of effective social distancing methods to be used within the hotel
  • Avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms and to act swiftly should we be alerted to any COVID-19 cases, by contacting the NICD hotline immediately
